You NEED a controller to properly enjoy this game! The touch controls for this game are great but it is very hard to be fast with touch controls. The moving mechanic is very weird at first but once you get used to it, it feels great! It's always nice to see games that take a risk with different mechanics. BTW... Final boss is WAY too hard compared to the rest of the bosses! I think it needs a little bit of rebalancing!

Somewhat frustrating due difficult level, Dandara is a excellent full metroidvania (new abilities unlocking new areas, character levelling up through some grinding, open-world map with extensive backtracking). Sometimes it makes me almost give up, but I always came back for a new attempt. The graphics and soundtrack are beautiful, the mechanics is original, to say a little, and the dual-stick controls are perfectly fine for touch screens.
